Exploring the Transformative Effects of Nine-Year Compulsory Chinese Education and Chinese Language Teaching: A Study of Girls from the Lahu Ethnic Minority in China |

This paper focuses on the mental health problems of Lahu teenagers and children in Lancang County, using a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods, and based on literature review, questionnaire survey and interview, analyzes the current situation and causes of their mental problems. The study found that the mental health problems of Lahu adolescents were aggravated by many factors, such as economic backwardness, lack of family supervision, cultural tradition and national character. This paper puts forward targeted countermeasures, including improving the economic level, reducing the problems of left behind children, improving the school psychological education facilities and teachers, establishing the family school community coordination mechanism, promoting the popularization of mental health education and building a psychological support system adapted to the national characteristics, so as to improve the mental health status of students in ethnic areas and promote their all-round development.
